OKONOMI-YAKI is one of typical Japanese food.
This is one of my favorite foods as well as who live KANSAI area people loves it.
I called this food is Japanese style PIZZA.
But google translate says JAPANESE PANCAKE.
I believe that one day people can call OKONOMI-YAKI as English word like SUSHI and TEMPURA.
its not expensive 5USD to 10USD.
It depends on what you topping in.
It is made from mixture of flour and water with it contains cabbage, slice of pork, eggs as a base and so on.
Meaning of Okonomi is as you like in Japanese.
so you can add more ingredients as you like for topping.
Seafood,Cheese, Rice cake Piece of dry Bonito etc.
After cooked OKONOMI-YAKI you add special Okonomi-yaki Sauce on the top.
(If you don’t have it then BBQ sauce is good too)
+add Aurora sauce (Mayonnaise and Ketchup mix) is fantastic!!
